AITOLIA, Aitolian League. Circa 250-225 BC. Stater (Silver, 24 mm, 10.56 g, 8 h), Korkyrean standard. Laureate head of Apollo to right; below, ΦI. Rev. AITΩΛΩN Aitolos standing left, kausia hung around neck and sword slung at waist, right foot set on rock, holding spear in his right hand and leaning left arm on raised right knee. BCD Akarnania 440. Tsangari 707b and pl. XLI (this coin). Beautifully toned. The obverse struck somewhat off center and with some flatness, otherwise, good very fine.
